SERVPRO reaches 2000 franchises!

The first generation of SERVPRO began in 1969 with small business entrepreneurs who had very little to work with. They may not have had much, but they had big dreams and a passion to serve. They all shared a common goal to create a system of franchise owners and help these franchises get into their own business. Ted Isaacson, the founder of SERVPRO, traveled across the country training people to join the SERVPRO team.

During the mid-1980s, the second generation of SERVPRO began and SERVPRO went from a small entrepreneurial company to a rapidly growing national franchise. A few of their goals were to reach 2,000 franchises and to earn $1 billion in system sales. At the time, the company only had 350 licensees and $30 million in gross system sales, but with perseverance and diligence the company was able to grow.

SERVPRO was able to check off one of the milestones off of our bucket list by passing $1 billion in systems sales. This year, we reached our second milestone and welcomed our 2,000th franchise into the SERVPRO family! The SERVPRO team built Ted Isaacs dream into an incredible international franchise company across the U.S. and Canada.
